- Begin to plan your vegetable and herb gardens by seeding indoors.
- Reseed bare spots in established lawns and keep the area moist until the new grass is 3" high.
- Reduce overwintering insects by spraying with Ultra Fine Oil.
- Plant pansies and violas to bring some early spring cheer as they can handle lower night temperatures.
- Prune shrub roses heavily as the new leaves begin to appear
- Prune forsythia and other spring-flowering trees and shrubs after the flowers fall.
- Sharpen and clean lawn mower blade and tools
- Apply Fertilome Crabgrass Preventer plus Lawn Food
- Apply Bayer Rose and Flower care to control insects and feed your roses.
