The basic rule of thumb for bulb planting is to plant them three times as deep as the height of the bulb. Bulbs are an easy way to add a much needed color boost in the Spring when other plants are barely breaking dormancy. Planting bulbs take just 3 easy steps!
1. Dig a hole to the required depth.
2. Put bulbs in place, pointed ends up with a little bulb fertilizer.
3. Replace the soil. Water well after planting and during any dry periods.
That’s it!
We stock most bulbs in the Fall, which include tulips, daffodils, allium, crocus,
hyacinth, and many more. Stop in to see the simple, effective, and inexpensive way
you can add color to your landscape.
